I had my 80th Birthday Party in the Wine Cellar on October 8, 2016. Arrangements were made by Tavarus Johnson and Derek was the captain that evening for dinner. We had a party of 12 and we started the evening with cocktails, appetizers and dinner off the menu. Tavarus assured me that the evening would go smoothly but he was wrong. The evening was much better than that. The appetizers were wonderful and right on time. Cocktail service was immediate . . . no waiting. Wine service was perfect. Dinner service couldn't have been better . . . main courses included scallops, sea bass, salmon and of course steaks and everyone was served quickly and steaks ranged from rare to well well done. Rave reviews from all. Thank you Tavarus for planning it well and to Derek and his crew for making it such a success!

Cabernet has been our "go to" spot for special occasions for several years. From birthday parties and rehearsal dinners to Mother's Day brunch or quiet dinners for two, the food is uniformly outstanding, the wait staff is attentive without being smothering, and the manager, Jason, assures that all things run smoothly. We can't recommend it highly enough. Easily rivals Bones.

Wife and I went for our anniversary at a 5:30 PM. sitting.

The salads, appetizer and Steak entrees were cooked to perfection; and the service was top self. Even the mixed drinks were of good proportion and the mix was fresh and quality. Ou Servers were Collin and Blair were were attentive at the proper time. Even though this is a little further to drive than we like, we will place it on our primary list and make the effort to enjoy the Cabernet often.

Recently dined with a party of 13 in the wine cellar. Food and wine was excellent and service even better! Cabernet's Sampler appetizer which included the Fried lobster was outstanding. Scallops entrée was incredible. Staff was extremely attentive. We were treated very well and everyone had an excellent dining experience. Great for groups!

Great choice for a friend's birthday celebration. The ladies chose the dinner package at $35.00 which was good value for quality food. Specials on cocktails and wine was also an added benefit. The filet mignon steaks were delicious and cooked to order. Service overall was very good and the sommelier helpfull in wine choice. Highly recommended.

Loved this place. First time there and it was brilliant.. Food was the best I've had in a steakhouse in Georgia.. (are your chefs European?).. and the service was super friendly. We sat in the bar so we could smoke and there were lots of cigars around. However, their ventilation is insanely good and I didn't even notice any smoke. It was brilliant. Go!!

Food was not the best. Took cheesecake home only to find it had mold on it. If it had mold on it, how old has this cheesecake been sitting around? How old is the rest of their food sitting around that I just ate? Will never go here again and will be requesting a refund tomorrow. Will update with resolution and if we get sick.

Do NOT go to Cabernet between 3-5pm, if ever. We've been here around 20 times before and always had a wonderful experience. Today was HORRIBLE getting there between lunch and dinner. Service was horrible. Waited at hosts station way to long as lunch waiters avoided us. Had to ask for bread after 20 minutes. No servers so bartender was server and she was terrible. Im usually a good tipper but I tipped her lousy and it should have been much worse. Busboys were to busy goofing off to provide any service. We were served yellow asperogus. We sat by kitchen and food sat in kitchen way to long after it was ready. I called after getting home instead of just complaining online and assistant manager, Jason I think, hung up on me. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

I can't say enough what a great experience we had last night. The food was simply delicious and enormous portions! Our server Seth was very efficient and had a great personality. We will be back every month when we are in Atlanta. The atmosphere was beautiful. I work in a cigar bar and was impressed with the lounge/bar area.

Upscale steakhouse but enough options for vegans. The baked potato was huge and perfectly done. Steamed broccoli was also perfect. Server was very attentive and friendly but the waiter was stuffy and seemed irritated that 2 of us were not eating meat (smaller bill means smaller too?).

The food was outstanding five stars, steak cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Service was average to poor. Small examples, over an hour's wait for food, salad plate was cleared but no forks replaced, had to ask twice to get a fork while my steak sat, which leads me to the last point wait staff not management stopped by to check on the steaks. Been to Cabernet several times service is either great or mediocre.Expect more consistency from a prime steakhouse.

Everything was delicious. We were there with a retirement planning meeting. The crab cake was delicious the garden salad I had was very good and my filet was tender and cooked to perfection!!!!!!

This is a very upscale restaurant and decorated according. Mahogany wood everywhere. They have a separate smoking lounge for those that enjoy a good cigar. Their prices are high but well worth it. I had their petite fillet mignon and it was perfect, the best steak I've had in a long time. I definitely would recommend this place for a special night out.

went on Easter Sunday, the buffet was amazing and the staff were great as well. lobster tails left some to be desired but when they make literally hundreds at a time, what do you expect? overall, near perfect experience (they even accomadated us 30 mins before our reservation)

There are only one reasons I almost did not give 5 stars, the restaurant allows cigar smoking in a separate area which in itself is fine but depending on where you sit you may still smell it.The service, especially our head waiter was fantastic. He knows the food with a passion. It was a joy just listening to him read the specials.The food is excellent. Obviously the stairs are great, juicy and perfectly charred.The sides are very good to, of it's mushrooms or fries, they taste excellent.Overall a fantastic albeit pricey experience.

My mom and I went here for the first time last week. We used Open Table to make a reservation, which I would definitely recommend for dinner. Warm and cozy ambiance, and the food was delicious, especially the prime steaks. Fernando was a most excellent waiter; he treated us like queens! The only caveat is there is cigar smoking allowed at the bar, so if it bothers you, ask to be seated away from there.

Absolute perfect dining experience. Expect to get what you will certainly pay good money for. Service excellence and devine steaks. Pictured is their special marinated ribeye steak. While bursting with flavor a little fattier than what I'm accustomed even for a ribeye where one expect more marbling. Crab cake was my app and an huge fail pack flavor and that which it did have was drawn away by a mustard based dressing the crab was forced to swim in. As customary in high end steakhouses all sides are separate and charged in like manner but the generous serving could easily feed two or more. Valet parking, white linens, cigar room with it's own air filtration system makes this a destination for any special occasion.

Amazing steak and sea food. Be prepared to talk and mingle but just know they are cooking it fresh so there will be a wait. I would reserve this place for any occasion that required a relaxed intimate environment.

Great service and comfortable atmosphere. Good for dates, but also for family events. For the price of the food, it was a bit underwhelming; the steak and salmon were both pretty under-seasoned, even though the quality of the meat/fish was good. The portion sizes were alright-- you get what you pay for. It was a good experience, but I wouldn't go again, just due to the lack of flavor in the food.
